Frédéric Chopin wrote a number of preludes for piano solo. His cycle of 24 Preludes, Op. 28, covers all major and minor keys. In addition, Chopin wrote three other preludes: a prelude in C♯ minor, Op. 45; a piece in A♭ major from 1834; and an unfinished piece in E♭ minor.
Manos Hatzidakis was a Greek composer and theorist of Greek music. He was also one of the main proponents of the "Éntekhno" form of music. His first piano piece, "For a Small White Seashell", came out in 1947. In 1960 he received an Academy Award for Best Original Song for his song Never on Sunday from the film of the same name.
